On June 10, 2008, the Young At Heart journeyed to Morehead on the new Macedonia Church bus to tour the Kentucky Folk Art Museum.  This was a wonderful exhibit in an old food warehouse that had been converted for use as a museum.  Attendees marveled at both the skill and imagination of the featured artists.

After a great tour, the group then proceeded to Root-A-Bakers Restaurant and Bakery for a delicious lunch served by the owner, Lana Root.  All enjoyed the tasty treats that were so splendidly displayed on our plates. After the main lunch, we then feasted on scrumptious desserts that Lana had baked just for our visit, Peanut Butter Pie, Coconut Cream and Strawberry Cake. All agreed that this was one of our best trips!!!
